Franz Kurath, Director, Business Development, AT&T PDF Print E-mail

Franz Kurath is responsible for business development activities for AT&T’s Consumer Marketing’s Video group. He has an extensive background in both traditional and new media with over 15 years of studio, network and service provider experience. At AT&T Mr. Kurath is responsible for identifying new opportunities in interactive advertising, measurement and on-demand content and applications across multiple screens.

 

Before joining AT&T, Mr. Kurath spent six years at The WB Television Network, leading both the On-Air Design and New Media groups. In those roles he was responsible for managing the network’s broadcast and online brand, launching the network’s Internet presence, and producing a number of interactive television applications. Mr. Kurath produced program segments for the animated television series “The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest” while at Hanna-Barbera,. During his tenure at Paramount Pictures, he produced visual effects and broadcast material for Paramount Television and UPN. Prior to becoming involved with television broadcast production, Mr. Kurath worked for four years at TBWA Chiat/Day inc. Advertising.

Mr. Kurath received his B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Arizona and his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
